Aliqae & Andrew

Elegant Wedding at the Louisville Henry Clay House

Aliqae & Andrew traveled to Louisville, from the rural parts of New York State, to have a downtown wedding with their friends and family. They chose the essence of elegance, the Henry Clay. The ornate mirror she got dressed in front of, was wall height, mirroring her wedding gown with a lace cover up top. He wore a cumber bun and bowtie, and the two saw each other for a first look on the sun filled and brick wall lined patio.

The ceremony was personally tweaked to include new and old traditions, carefully chosen readings and the backstory on how Aliqae and Andrew came to be Aliqae & Andrew. They kissed twice for their first kiss and spent the following cocktail hour with their guests, mingling and conversing with a group from all over the US.

As expected, dinner was exquisite, the music, lively, and a retro photobooth kept guests moseying around the ballroom in sombreros and masks. Nieces & nephews excitedly watched the cake cutting and then admired Andrew & Aliqae’s first dance as the sun slowly sank below the rooftops outside. It really was an elegant event perfectly designed and executed by two classy souls. I feel very fortunate to have been apart of it.

Special thanks to the vendors on this one. Maggie, the wedding day coordinator was absolutely top notch. Aliqae & Andrew selected a great team of vendors because everyone worked flawlessly to help make this wedding celebration a smashing success.

Steffanie & Cody

Spindletop Hall Lexington Kentucky Wedding

Steffanie & Cody booked us from Washington D.C. They picked the lovely bluegrass of Kentucky and the gorgeous venue of Spindletop to celebrate their union. We didn’t get to meet them before the wedding, which always makes us a little nervous. And to add to it, when I skyped with Stephanie, we actually went through blogs on my website image by image, asking about lighting, technique, editing and styling choices, and I even sent her a few raw files to show the before and after.

Essentially, she made me feel very honored to be chosen by her, because I could tell she really cared about her images and her photographer. That all being said, she could not have been more of a pleasure, more chill, or more accommodating. She had put so much effort into creating a fantastic event, and everything was flawless.

We also had the pleasure of working along side a great DJ and a great videography team White Owl Weddings. Enjoy the smiles, the intimate moments, and the party that was Steffanie & Cody’s Wedding Day.
